When I finally moved back to Cricklewood, I wanted to connect back into the community. But after not living there for 15 years, I found a lot of the people had moved out. The irony of running community choirs, which create these lovely communities, and then coming back to my isolated home, wasn’t lost on me.

Then i met Paulette at Our Yard @Clitterhouse Farm. She had been working on building up community in the area for years and together we founded the Yardbirds. And now i get to meet all my neighbours and sing!
